Mwaniki Nyaga

STORYTELLING EXECUTIVE

Kilifi, Kenya

Mwanĩki is exploring how stories help change the world by connecting the people, ideas and movements across Brink’s programmes. His particular focus is on making complex technical and policy work feel true and urgent to the right people. He is passionate about solving for real felt needs and doing work that resists extraction through centering the voices and agency of those behind the work. Before Brink, he spent 5 years lending his talent to problems existing at the intersection of research, design, and storytelling. As Founding Committee Member at KamiLimu, Mwanĩki contributed to enhancing learning outcomes for hundreds of tech-aligned students from Kenyan universities through strategic storytelling and capacity-building in digital communication and inclusive innovation. Ultimately, Mwanĩki believes multiple disciplines can unite around problem-solving in ways that inspire lasting mindset and behaviour change.
