Lea Simpson

Founder

Barcelona, Spain

Lea is one of Brink’s co-founders and inventors of Behavioural Innovation. Her brain is wired around a few obsessions: How do we keep things simple? What do people actually need? What if the world looked completely different?

At the heart of it, Lea is fascinated by human nature, by the ways we come together brilliantly, and the ways we get spectacularly in our own way. Her life’s work is finding paths toward a world where people work more usefully, and more joyfully together.

At Brink, she directs a number of programmes and funds. In practice, that means making sure teams have everything they need to deliver real impact, from pressure-testing strategy to being a champion for the team through the good, the bad, and the genuinely ugly.

Lea brings over 25 years of experience across everything from Silicon Valley to Kathmandu, working at the intersection of tech, innovation, and helping organisations and governments get fit for the future. She has a degree in psychology and is a trained coach across several disciplines, but most of what she knows was earned in the real world: leading teams, raising capital, running funds, and making hard things happen.

Questions Lea is exploring in their work right now

  • As AI and other technologies mature around us, how can we shape a more equitably distributed future?
  • Where are the women in power, how can we be them, find them and support them?
  • What would we do if there were no constraints?
